I have seen a lot of improvement in my third pitch when comparing it to my first one. I have followed feedback, and have almost completely memorized it. I still stumble a little when giving it, and I think this is just because I haven't had the opportunity to practice in front of other people yet. However, I am confident that this will easily improve with practice. I also received feedback to limit background noise that made it into my last video. I made an effort to find a quiet space in my house, and ask my family to limit their noise so I could record without distraction. While memorizing the pitch took extra time during these recordings, I think it was worth it in order to create something that I can use to share my idea with others. I think the main things I look forward to improving are my body language, and steadying my pace of speech.

Hi Abby,
ReplyDeleteYou did a nice job of adding statistics into your pitch. You were also enthusiastic and passionate about your idea. It was obvious to me that your third pitch was well rehearsed, and it seems like you have become comfortable enough with your idea to pitch it in a business setting. I was also impressed with your tempo, although you could work on being a bit more fluid at times. Altogether, you did a great job on this assignment.
Best regards,
Darren
Hi Abby,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't even tell that your pitch was memorized. It flowed very well and you were very enthusiastic. In one area it seemed as though you slowed down a bunch, maybe to emphasize an important part. Overall, I think you did a great job, it was very easy to understand.
Hello Abby,
ReplyDeleteYour pitches continue to get better and better. You sound like a professional after all this practice. I also like that you include hand motions in your pitch. These hand motions show great energy levels, which shows you are interested in what you are talking about and keep the viewer more interested. Next time, try to change your voice volume so you do not sound monotone. Otherwise, you are doing an amazing job.
