Athena also commented on my emotions. By being in touch with my emotions I can understand others' needs.

One difference I notice between my own reflection and those of my friends', is they commented a lot on my abilities to work with other people. There were similarities, such as problem solving, but I focused more on my technical task completion abilities, while they expanded on my emotional traits. In going back to change my answer, I would problem touch on one of these aspects, such as communication skills.

  1. Hi Abby,
It sounds like you have many qualities that will serve you well on your new venture. I also found that the feedback that I received from my interviews reflected more on my interactions with others, as my assessment was based on intrinsic qualities. It is interesting how we view ourselves versus how others receive the way that we portray our qualities. This assignment was useful in finding ways to relate our abilities on a personal and social level that will benefit us moving forward with our entrepreneurial endeavors.

  2. Abby,
It seems like you are very well rounded and reliable when it comes to getting things done or even being a good friend. I think that your friends are probably right about the emotions aspect because they can see the outside you versus what you think of yourself. This is very beneficial in a way because you can learn things you didn't even realize you were doing.

  3. Hey Abby,
I believe that your concluding part of the assignment tells me that you learned much from this exercise. Although it is important to focus on your technical abilities that will help you to run a successful business, it is also critical that you highlight your interpersonal skills. Having a great idea will only get you so far in business. You also have to have the great attitude to get things done and help out your customers.
